WOODBURY — Local volunteers will be participating in Make A Difference Day this Saturday, Oct. 25, in community service projects.

This year, volunteers will do some landscaping along South Broad Street by installing landscaping bricks along tree beds downtown and sprucing up the park at the site of the new police station.

Volunteers are needed to weed, rake, plant and place the landscaping ricks.

Meet at the corner of South Broad Street and East Barber Avenue at 8 a.m. Saturday. (The project should go until noon.) Bring rakes, shovels, trowels and gardening gloves.
